Building Fire & Gas Detection

Smoke Detection

Properly installed and maintained smoke alarms are considered to be one of the best and least expensive means of providing an early warning of a potentially deadly fire and could reduce by almost half the risk of dying from a fire in the building.

Smoke Detector (Ionization)

For the areas with hazard of fires with large flames and low smoke, we offer an Ionization Smoke detector using a low activity radioactive foil to detect fires by irradiating the air in the smoke chambers and causing a current flow. The sensor configuration involves Twin compensating chambers using one single sided ionizing radiation source.

  • Environmental tolerance (Ideal for places that are dirty or smoky under normal conditions)
  • Reliable fire detection with wide temp. range -30 to 70°C

Smoke Detector (Photoelectric)

For fires that smolder for hours and then produce large amount of smoke, the photoelectric Smoke detectors by using the light scatter principle, quickly detect fires and efficiently ignores false alarms. The sensor configuration involves Horizontal optical bench housing infra-red emitter and sensor, arranged radially to detect forward scattered light.

  • Ideal for passages, accommodation decks and escape routes
  • Reliable fire detection with wide temp. range -40 to 70°C
  • Available with five operating modes for different range of application temperatures.
  • Drift compensation to make sure constant sensitivity

Reflected Beam Smoke Detector

Reflected beam smoke detectors provide superior fire detection performance over traditional detection systems, particularly in spacious areas. With only one device to install and align, these single-ended optical beam solutions help save both time and money for open-area and high-ceiling applications. Beam detector works with an IR transmitter and receiver in the same housing. The IR signal is reflected by a prism and analyzed for smoke presence. It is particularly designed to be used where point smoke detectors are not applicable due to height or inaccessibility.

  • Low current consumption
  • Manual and automatic reset options available
  • Wiring and alignment is unique and easy
  • 3 selectable alarm thresholds
  • Available as both conventional and addressable devices.
